Default Where do I host my demo sites? Is it possible to do without a subdomain?

Hey guys a while ago I purchased a wso here selling pre-made demo websites. Now, where and how exactly do I host these demo sites on my server? I have hostgator web hosting by the way. Is there an easy way to do this without a domain name? I have been hosting these demo sites on sub-domains of my main domain, but I want to stop doing that because the pics on the demo sites worry me. They all look like images from stock sites and they're not comp images either.

Out of interest were the websites you purchased HTML or wordpress ones?
I don't think you can host them without creating a domain name otherwise what would the url be to visit them?

I don't understand why you want to stop using subdomains. Technically you could use sub folders, does that answer your question?

Why not just buy a random .info domain? They're cheap.

Then create a subfolder called demo.

yoursite.info/demo/
yoursite.info/demo-site1/

or something like that.

For doing so, that is, not using the sub-domain, you have to buy what spesialis said. But my experience says that the suggested domain contains hidden spams. So, plz don't try posting demo sites without sub-domain.

im not sure what you mean by not using subdomains but as mentioned above you can use subfolders and install your premade scripts in there or install xaamp and run them locally on your computer for testing purposes

You can take either of these steps:

(a). Get a second Hostgator acct
(b). Find a reliable but inexpensive host such as StableHost, DreamHost, HostTheName, IPage, etc. Most of those hosts run specials where you can get an annual package for under $20.00.
(c). Do as others have suggested and purchase a domain for the sole purpose pointing your demo sites to it.

You've got plenty of options.
