Outsourcing Telesales

Have done this both successfully and unsuccessfully. For success, it will be difficult to outsource phone sales on commission only. We found success after going through several candidates in the Philippines and one in Jamaica. We paid a weekly salary plus a bonus on closed sales. The real success came from both finding someone who was comfortable on the phone and also having the right script and training for the person to help them succeed. Just hiring and expecting them to know how to sell for you is a recipe for disaster. Recommendation, post job on odesk; invite best prospects to an over view call or webinar to better qualify them, then hire 2-4 for a trial period. keep the best. or go back to looking.
