Businesses that make $1000+ per sale

I want to do a co-op postcard and was hoping you all could give me some ideas of clients to target. I only want one or two advertisers alongside my ad, so I will be charging 1000-2000$ Dependent on the number of postcards shipped.

I was thinking about just targeting companies that have a break even of one sale. What do you all think?

Then I have to decide if I should go door to door or cold call...

    I believe electrical companies that sell and install whole home generators might fit what you are wanting. Or a geo thermal contractor, or maybe even a solar energy specialist.

    Why target only companies that have a break even with one sale?

    A mortgage broker in my area makes $5000/sale. But I know one mortgage broker that, though he makes $5,000/sale has no profits. As a matter of fact, he loses $213/sale. If he makes a sale and that sale costs him $300, he's losing $513 on that sale.

    My point is: find yourself a business that's well run and is a real business, where all money is nicely accounted for and there's profit, even if they only make $0.5 a sale.
