Pretty much anywhere on campus (where you're allowed) works well with the right offer. It isn't rocket science, though. It's simply a case of matching offers with traffic: the same as online marketing. Campus areas, low-income areas, high-income areas, they all represent pretty much targeted sources of traffic for the right offers. The trick is not finding the areas - which is easy. The trick is spinning this knowledge into passive streams of traffic.

Spank now, thank never. Love it.

        To OP:
The Offline Marketing section is geared for people who provide internet marketing services
to offline businesses, or for those who own offline businesses.

I've seen business put flyers on cars in parking lots - seems to do more harm to the business than good.
Always got to watch violations when marketing.

Your stuff seems to be geared for the make money online, internet marketing, and CPA crowd.

Ok so you don't like the method the OP used to communicate his message, but the reality is, its a pretty solid concept overall.

It is very much indeed a OFFLINE tactic that is very much under utilized within the realm of local marketing.

I personally have deals with 1 or 2 ok 4 local colleges that allows me to place 16x20's in each and every public bathroom on campus ( INCLUDING sport facilities ). ( who has time for A4's ha ha ha ) Each and every spot is filled with Local business that I do web work for. I could VERY easily sell those spots just like a pizza box ad.

I got all of these spots right in at 300 in total for next to nothing by contacting the college directly and working out the deal. I ended up doing some trade to get the spots. Even with that, because I contacted the school to get the ok to do this I became a point of contact any time they needed like kind product. It has done nothing but make money for me.

I recently put up a 5' x 10' advert for a local rib joint in one of the schools right at the front doors to the main hall.

So just read the OP for what it is, and think just for 2 seconds, that it may be something that could extend your services to local clients.

BTW... each and every piece of paper that goes in the place has MY tag on it... what's THAT worth?

Yeah I agree with you, spot on. And that's right and perfect for more advanced marketers, but the beautiful thing about this is anyone; newbie or talented, can get some real world success from it.

This form of marketing is powerful and for somebody looking to get their offer out there and see some real results: it actually works wonders all the time. It doesn't matter whether the newbie or advanced marketer: anyone can gain real life traffic and experience in marketing from doing this - there are levels to marketing obviously but one could even get traffic using this method with zero design/marketing presentation skills.

              It's solid.

I'm sure you're being presumptuous Joe. I'm sure if you speak to the right people within the campus' administration and developed a good relationship with them: barriers will fall (if they are even there in the first place!).

As long as the offer being advertised is of benefit to the students and is legal and proper, why would they not want to do it? There could be an issue of money which can be worked out or worked around, if there ever were a cost it would be incredibly small and you'd profit insane value for money.

Seriously: go to your nearest campus and have a look around and inquire. The sheer volume of real work targeted traffic in and around the campus areas is unreal. It's well worth the effort.

              Yes I understand this.

I've seen business put flyers on cars in parking lots - seems to do more harm to the business than good.
Yeah I wouldn't even recommend doing that, but that is completely different to marketing in campus hallways. On campus marketing is powerful.

Always got to watch violations when marketing.
Absolutely, get clued up about your craft and don't do anything illegal. I would never tell anyone to break the law or want them to end up on the wrong side of the law. But good business is good business and I'm sure that if a well-mannered, well-presented, good-intentioned warrior was to speak to the university people to discuss putting up some posters: there isn't really much which can go wrong and land people in jail.

My stuff, in this thread, is geared towards people who want to market something offline. I am simply telling a solid tactic, I'm just passing on something I know so others can benefit. It might not be anything to do with MMO, IM or CPA... it might be that the Warrior has a client who wants to promote a martial arts class of some sort - this would be one solid method to use in the campaign, either by itself or part of a bigger service or package.

My stuff, in this thread, is actually geared towards (in your words) "

to offline businesses, or for those who own offline businesses
              "
