Mailing to business owners home addresses

Hello Warriors,

I got this idea of a direct mail campaign, where I send a personal letter to their home addresses instead of their business address.

I wanna know has anyone tried this before, and how effective was it.

Also I know this one is tough, but can you point to where I can find this kind of information for business owners?

Usually business owners do not attach their personal address with the business for privacy reasons.

They use a registered agents address like their account or attorney's business address is.
