Just Got My First Lead Gen Client!

Actually, this client has been a customer in my physical product business for years, so it wasn't like I cold called him, but it still feels awesome!

This is lead generation only. I'm not relying soley on SEO.

Based on what he does and the size of his business, I'm charging him $197.00 per month plus a one time $100.00 fee to set-up Facebook and Twitter accounts. I'll end up spending around $10.00 on backgrounds for those and between 10-20% out of the monthly fee for advertising services, but it's only a matter of monitoring things regularly after that.

Also, I already told him I was going to raise the price to $297.00 once the results are coming in steadily and he's good with it.

This will actually work out very well if all goes according to plan. I charge him to supply him with new customers and as he receives more work he'll need more supplies, which I'll then sell him as well. So the more successful I am on the front end the more I'll make on the front end AND the backend.

I like it. :-)

This is simply following the thread below about site rentals and a big dose of encouragement a few months ago from Willie Crawford.

Could you please, share how do you generate leads for him through facebook?
I know you could pay for facebook ads, but I thing you use some kind of technique, don't you?

Great job just getting started =)

One piece of advice in with the flat rate lead generation model. Never rely on just 1 or 2 sources of leads, find 4-5 even of just 1 or 2 provide the bulk of the leads. That way if something goes wrong with one of the primary sources, you still have leads (and recurring income) coming in while you repair any damage.

Bets of luck bro, most of the work was done just by when you picked up the phone on the cold call. Keep it up and as you get better and more confident in your ability to provide value, increase your prices, trust me on that one.

Thanks Chris. Yes, I am diversifying over several places to see which is bringing in the most consistent traffic.
