Really poor offline lead gen site I saw...

Note: I replaced the town name with ZZZZZ. But, other than that, this is EXACTLY how the "about us" page looks on a dental lead gen site I saw. Yes, in the US! Obviously this text is written by someone who does not speak English very well! The year 19XX *IS* how it is written on the site!! Same with "Doctor X," and the misspelling of "Harvar."

Lets hope a good copywriter can put his teeth in their website but I find that very hard to swallow.

How is this "offline" if you are talking about a poor website? Just curious I guess.

My relfex is to call and "help" this dentist. But in all likelihood it'd be a terrible prospect, someone who would never understand the value in paying to address this (he probably has a "web guy", aka a relative handling the marketing).

Or revenue is mostly generated from other types of marketing and would have a hard time understanding why lead gen from Internet sources is necessary.

Maybe not. Probably best to qualify them rather than sell them on something.

If you are in the business of doing the right thing, then do the right thing.Call the dentist and let him know.

What he does with the info is up to him but he is probably unaware of the site.

Some shyster has told the dentist that he can set up sites that generate business. The dentist might have asked to look at what was set up and been shown maybe one done properly and not shown the ones done on the cheap by foreigners.

This is becoming quite common and small businesses do not have time to check everything on the web.

So is this a lead generation website that someone is currently paying for or is this one of the people that read a couple threads on here and make an awful attempt? LOL.

Is this actually ranking for anything?

I did not see anything. But the video is on page 2 which is about as good as the copy.

I wonder if some people that read this thread have actually called yet?

I could be wrong, but I'd say this guy hasn't leased it yet. He's probably waiting to see if he gets any hits to the site or calls to the tracking number before looking for a Doctro X to lease it to. If he has actually managed to lease it, then

I noticed the phone number at the top of the page.

            Probably a tracking number.

LOL.....Good luck with that one buddy.

Other than that, the layout isn't bad. I doubt it will get any traction though.

If they fix the copy and typos, it could be a workable micro referral site.

The city is very young with median age of 22.3 but the income is about $27 grand. Probably not a good market to land a lucrative contract with a dentist. And I think the domain is backwards though. I prefer towndentist.com versus dentistintown.com -- BUT maybe I'm wrong.

Yeah, it's a decent enough looking template actually. The guy needs a proof reader though

I was loocking so bad for a good dentist who can give me the best service and a good deal also. My friend recomended me Doctro X.
"So, Doctro X, we meet again."

"So it seems, Professor. But this time you will be powerless against my teeth-whitening pen."
