While it is common knowledge that you can get leads by simply approaching web designers in your area and asking if they need help...How many of you are already doing the same with the big dawgs of the marketing arena - Branding Agencies?
My Story
One day by pure chance, while approaching someone that I thought was a web designer to see if they needed copywriting help - I stumbled upon a branding company who was managing a client's brand overhaul.
Without going into too much detail, let me just say this...That single 'mistake' made a lasting impact on my writing business.
The Bottom Line
Again, while I understand SEO, reputation and social media; they are not my focus. But my experience could just have easily applied to someone who does manage SEO, reputation or social media campaigns. because when branding agencies do overhauls, it affects every aspect of the company's public image.
