redirecting keyword rich url to my main site

Basically what the title says.

If I have a keyword-rich domain name with lots of exact match searches each month that I redirect to my main site, I should benefit right? More traffic and potential leads, correct?

100% incorrect. Redirecting a domain with exact match potential has absolutely no effect on your rankings and traffic.

Better off building a satellite site completely separate from your main site.

Right. I rushed out the door right after I wrote this and thought, "Dude! 2-pager with info harvest form, not redirect. The matches are irrelevant if the domain never gets a chance to be in the SERPs!"

      My bad.
