About 80-90 leads to call, where to start?

Hi, over the last 4 days I've been testing campaigns on Bing SEM for a natural health product/technology for antioxidant water and the ad/landing page was set for the weight loss niche since weight loss is a main benefit of my product.

I spent about $600 and built a list of about 220 opt ins, so about $3 per lead which I don't think is bad, and a little less than half of the people who opted in provided their phone number, since that was optional.

I'm a little nervous calling the leads because I'm not sure if I'll get yelled at or w/e lol, it's probably because I worked at an inbound call center for 2 years for a cell phone company as there was a lot of upset customers from being overcharged etc.

The landing page explained a bit of my product and a testimonial video but not much, so I'm not sure how well the sales percentage will go per lead.

Since the leads signed up for a newsletter, should I just call and thank them for joining the newsletter and explain a bit about my product? Or should I focus a lot of trying to promote and sell the product?

What are you selling? Is there a reason you didn't allow the paid traffic to buy whatever it is you're offering? Sounds to me this is something that should be more of an inbound marketing type strategy, but there's no harm in going ahead and calling the leads.

I'm really shocked you didn't allow anyone to buy when they were in the buying mood!

I'll be trying to sell machines that produce alkalized water, or also called Kangen Water. Since the machines have a high price point, ranging from $1,500 to $4,000, I thought that it might be better to first generate interest and then provide them with ongoing information via the newsletter, and if they provide their phone number call them to build a relationship and trust since the product has a high price.

Also since it's a high price I imagine that I'll have to expect a lot of no's, even though my company offers no credit financing.

Start at the top of the list. LOL

Don't wait days to call leads - come up with a way to get notified instantly when the lead comes in and call the number right away. You are 5 times more likely to make contact if you call within the first 5 minutes. Waiting 30 minutes lowers your chance of a sale by 400%.

Write a simple pitch and start calling!

That's exactly what I was thinking. I thought to myself that I should have called them right away. Before I tried using Facebook Ads and Google PPC and generated about 20 leads, and called them the same day and about 15% of the leads were interested, and about 7% were interested in buying and were in the decision process. Well I was about to generate 2 or 3 prospects who were very interested.

However, I didn't keep following up and for some reason I gave up and didn't call them back.

But I paid quite a bit per lead, about $15 to $20 each because the website I used wasn't a squeeze page, it was a company provided website. After quite a bit of research I decided to create a squeeze page, and set up an ad on Bing Ads for weight loss keywords such as lose belly fat, lose weight fast, weight loss etc and as mentioned in the first post got amazing results over the past few days. Got clicks for about 30 cents each, and got 1 lead every 10 clicks on average, so $3 which I think is amazing compared to my previous results a few years back.

If I'm able to get the same results as before, even if 10% of the leads become very interested, it could turn into 9-10 highly qualified leads form the 90 contact number-included opt ins, not to mention the other 120 email-only optins which may result in some sales in the future from ongoing newsletters.
