Massage business promo ideas

Hi

I have a client who runs a massage and therapy centre and I am looking for some interesting promotional ideas for getting more cut omers through the door.

Obviously we have done all the discounted rates and buy one get one free campaigns but failing giving discounts what other promotional events might get people through the door?

We are specifically looking to run a promotion for Valentine's Day. The split of men to women is about 80:20 but I would expect many men are married so don't want a romantic link or giveaway or anything that may make their partner think something is going on, for similar reasons I don't want to offer a prize or draw or something that may require the business to have to contact the winner.

Discretion is a priority.

Would love to hear any ideas people may have

    How long has the therapist been in business
    and has she the home address of patients?

    What is the average lifetime value of a patient?

    This will help me give direction.

      Do a deal with local gym. You offer cheap or free 30 minute massage to new members. The gym gets an extra 'benefit' they can sell with their membership package. The massage business gets very good leads, people with cash to spend who workout and care about their health etc.

    Thanks for the replies. The business has been established for about 2 years now. It's not just one therapist but a spa / salon employing around 8 -10 masseuses.

    The business is on the whole busy but a promotional day can never hurt.

    The gym idea is a good one and something to look into, however we are just looking for something specifically for Valentine's Day

    Offer short massages to businesses, e.g. call centre operators. 10 min massage for $10. I know this works as I have done it for staff in several companies. People jump at the chance.

      I have the promo that went out to past clients
      that brought in $67,500 in 3 months.

      It went out to those that hadn't been in for 12 months
      or more.

      Same here. Also at our company events / holiday / staff parties.
      The ones that come in always gets repeat business.
