Mailing list experts here? List validation expertise?
I'm new to the concept of USPS list validation and the software (or services) that offer it.
I'm planning to compile my own mailing list and then have it validated, to go for the bulk mailing rate & save on postage... Any tips? Are bar codes involved?
Also -- do you have any tips for working with a printer that print addresses on self-mailers? Does there need to be merge fields in the design? And when the printer delivers the cards to me, will he know to deliver pieces sorted by zip code?
I'm a total noob at this, just starting my research.
Hoping for insights from anybody who has experience with this, or any good clear resources that explain this stuff. Thanks!
