I'm looking at the options between for a tri-fold brochure:

80lb gloss Book with C2S coating
100lb gloss Book with C2S coating
100lb gloss Cover with C2S coating

Does anyone have experience about what would be the best option?

Thanks

To give you an idea. book stock is like the paper in a book. a bit flimsy and more pliable. Cover stock would be just that paper used for a cover. Stronger and thick by nature. 100lb book, you will be able to "roll" easily 100lb cover "rolling" will be a bit of a struggle.

look at tri-fold paper selection like this... do you want it to remain folded? as in sitting on a table laying flat? or do you want more sturdy piece that will sit more 3-d looking when laying on a table?

I personally would use the 100lb cover for table tents and the like. the 80lb book for en mass printing - almost like a piece of throw away material. and then the 100lb book would be the wow piece that you would print in smaller numbers but looking for impact in offering a more sturdy piece.

I would go with 100LB gloss book, it looks professional, cheaper than "cover" and almost the same price as 80Lb.
