How to cold call for a website re-design?

Hello everyone!

I wanted to know what tactics/strategies/script do you guys use or any tips you can provide me for cold calling businesses who already have a website but it badly needs a re-design.

For example their website:
- Is not designed well (graphics, text, colors)
- Not great user experience
- No call to actions
- No contact form
- No way to collect email addresses
- Is not mobile friendly
- etc.

** Overall a website which is not up to the current standards.

How would I cold call that business into re-designing their current website?

Looking forward to your replies.

Thanks in advance!

Point them all of the above and say why it's hurting their business. Tell them that they could have lot more customers with re-design.

The 1st thing that I would do is only reach out to people that really need a redesign. I had people calling and suggesting that I needed a site redesign 30 days after having a custom redesign done. I actually took a call with one of these folks to get a critique of my new site. He was clueless.

Be polite (they or a relative may have designed the website) and just call
    people who need re-design:
