    Hi there,

What makes your service any better than the commercially available options out there such as Mailchimp, ConstantContact, Aweber?

    All the best,

    Sasha.

I can guarantee and excellent inbox delivery and can send up to 100k subscribers. up to £25k a month on aweber is $130 a month. so my pricing once I sort things out will be attractive.

        Hi there raylee.
Pricing will definitely help you, but most will not understand what an autoresponder is supposed to do. If they do, they already have one, so they'll not likely want to go through the hassle of changing. Can you help them with that?

How, exactly, can you guarantee "excellent inbox delivery"? You don't have to post it here, but what are you going to tell customers that will make your service/software stand out?

As far as your OP, "who should you target", well, everyone who needs an autoresponder. Targeting.... sit down and write out a few sample scripts of each type of business you want to promote your software to. Explain the benefits of using your software to simplify their needs, ie: newsletter and such.

Further, explain to them how having a list will increase their business and why using your software will help them reach out to their customers and keep them, without taking up a lot of their valuable time.

thanks for that, i'm currently starting to sell the software but this was another avenue I wanted to look at. I guess I was just wanting some ideas of what types of businesses that would have a decent size list to send to.
i'll work on a plan of action.

I'm sorry raylee, I should have made myself a little clearer. To me, every business should have a use for an autoresponder. Their list size shouldn't be an issue for you. Explaining the benefits of having a list and how to easily manage it, should.

You say that you can offer more than aweber, as far as price, size of list and so on. Telling a small business owner that they can have 100K on their list, as opposed to the 25K aweber offers (not sure I got that right), isn't as important as showing them the benefits of having the actual responder itself.

Now, to be even more clear, I am under the assumption that you're marketing to offline businesses, not online. Going with offline and your wanting to know what types of businesses will have that large of a list, (I have no idea of the U.K., but it can't be all that different from here, the U.S.), then some suggestions would be:

Distributors. Think outside the box here. Grocery stores all carry the same products, they get them from a distributor, right? A great way to boost their recognition would be a newsletter. How would they distribute it? A flyer that their customers (grocery stores) hand out with every transaction! What would make a customer sign up for a newsletter? A coupon! Ask the distributor to do some sort of kick back to the store for handing it out, or maybe a free spot of advertisement on the flyer for handing it out, and then have their email for a sign up for a newsletter.

How this would benefit the distributor can be huge. The company gets a lot of recognition, their employees get recognition (newsletter, employee of the month announcements), it will begin to make something that very few think about, and turn it into a local name! It's a way to brand that company.

There are multiple businesses out there that could use your software. Chains, grocery stores, distributors, and so on. Take the small businesses and reverse engineer them, they have to get their supplies from somewhere, right?
