Using Fiverr to distribute flyers

I'm thinking about using some gigs on Fiverr to distribute flyers.

Has anyone had success with Fiverr flyer gigs, or are they all just scams?

No personal experience but gut reaction is you're not likely to get much response.

Even if the flyers are decent quality and are all given out, how many will be targeted to your audience and how many will make it past the next bin?

I know someone locally who's had some success with door-to-door distribution but that's a lot more than $5

Mmmmmm that sounds like a bad idea. Is there a reason you want to use Fiverr?

There are some companies that can distribute flyers all over the country if you need flyers outside of your area. Otherwise, I would hire some kids to do it. They won't be that much more money.

I know some guys that have done flyers for insurance.... none on them have had success. What is the flyer for?

      Thanks trevord,

I'm thinking about laundromats where people have nothing better to do than to read what's posted on the bulletin board.

      Hi eccj,

      Fiverr is convenient.

The flyer is for the offer in my sig. (a scaled down version of it).

    It's a bad idea...

the few legitimate people who do that on Fiverr will just put them in random or convenient places. They're not going to work real hard to make sure your flyers are seen by the right market. Depends on your target audience I guess.

I remember seeing a few people on Fiverr who will put them around a college campus, so if you're targeting students, something like that might work to target colleges around the country.

However, for the money you pay on Fiverr you can't really expect much. Your better off paying someone directly an hourly amount to put up flyers in certain locations that you choose.

      Thanks Mr. Squid,

That's pretty much what I figured.

      You're probably right Freebiequeen.

I think the word "clump" says it all. And I think it's just as likely the flyer clump will end up in the garbage as anywhere else.

      Thanks for the advice.

I agree with everyone else here, it's probably a bad idea.

Fiverr is just too unreliable, and I think your offer is too specific for flyer distro.

Flyers definitely still work for certain things, but you'll need to work with a reputable distributor (adult carriers). I wouldn't even chance hiring a kid off of craigslist or whatever. Too much of a risk of your flyers getting undelivered.

Flyers will work well for local businesses. Or if you have a very broad offer, it might work. But you'll still have to figure out the general demographics of the areas you're planning on hitting. Google maps street view helps sometimes in figuring some of that out

You have to pay a lot more than $5 for that, flyers can work locally for some businesses, especially if they have an offer on them. Pizza shops, sub shops do well with flyers still, especially at offices nearby them.

The idea of putting an "affiliate" link or trying to sell MLM or some "get rich" book from clickbank is a pie in the sky idea that gets tossed around here from time to time

No one ever reports back any success stories - just does not seem to work

why you wanna use fiverr? You'll get way better result and experience doing it yourself ofcourse.

Btw I visited the link in your description claiming
"This is the one you've been waiting for - $500K+ passive potential for less than $20." on the main page

so I advice you to invest 15$ more and go with it. it's better ROI i guess

A guru I got scammed by to the tune of $6,000 gave me the awesome wisdom to distribute flyers for my fledgling dating confidence business. When I asked where I should actually deliver these flyers so they don't end up in the hands of old married couples or broke people, he told me to interlock my thumb and forefingers from each hand, pick one town for each hand, then pull my hands apart, and which thumb and forefinger ring didn't break apart would be the town I should deliver my flyers to. What brilliant coaching. But still no mention of which people to target or anything. I got 0% ROI and a lot of money down the drain printing those things and having them distributed.

I've since gotten involved in direct mail & mail order and I can tell you that you should find a list of targeted buyers from a list broker, of people who have bought similar products to yours and are interested in your niche, where you can deliver to their doorstep directly and not to any Tom Dick or Harry who has no interest in your offer whatsoever. Even then you're looking at a 1-2% response rate, so imagine how you will be flushing money down the toilet by just distributing flyers randomly across all society by someone on Fiverr. Take it from me, invest in buying a list of buyer's addresses. I'm giving you for free information that my old hippie guru charged me $6k and DIDN'T give me. Make use of it!

In the question of fiverr gigs at first need to assure that the seller is honest because there are many visitors who have very low quality service so your money will be worthless.

If you can proper and honest seller you will get better result at a little cost.
