What is the most you have seen a B2B sales person earn?

How much were they roughly earning?

What were they selling?

How would you describe their selling technique?

What was their personality like?

What qualities/skills/attributes do you think made them so successful?

Did you ever recieve any advice from these salespeople? If so, what did they say?

Did they live a "balanced" life or were they mainly work focused?

... And anything else you may think of as being relevant!

Look forward to a very interesting discussion!

That is a lot to answer but I will say one thing I think that is relevant.

The whole "balanced" life thing is a myth. It was mentioned a lot in the millionaire thread and I have seen it a lot elsewhere.

People do what they want. If someone who makes a lot of money works all the time it is because they want to. If their life is "unbalanced' it is only unbalanced to you, not them, because they are doing what they want.

These are wealthy people we are talking about. If they wanted to sleep in a nasty hostile in Bangkok instead of working all the time they would.

We are all completely free in our decisions yet bound by our desires and limited in our choices. Those who have a lot of money are not as limited in their choices as those who do not.

Are you a paid forum poster to come in and try and make this forum more active ? For what explainable reason will any of those questions help you in any way ? There seems to an increase in these blanket non productive questions shooting around of late.

    $120K+commission

In the IT and Med fields.

100% cold calling for the IT guys and constantly on the road for the Medical folks.

How they did the work was their business.

Neither role appealed to me in spite of headhunters trying to get them to.

I've met several people earning $100K to $250K annually in commissions plus bonus selling promotional advertising and growing their business year after year.

Yes, it is in B2B as the likeliest customers are business and industry. The businesses can range from small "Mom & Pop" shots in almost any industry to corporations ranging from small opearations on up to Fortune 500 clients in chemical, banking, manufacturing, communications, healthcare, education, and more.

Promotional advertising is a $ 20 Billion market in the U.S. and continues growing in spite of the sluggish economy. It only takes a small niche market or a handful of clients to earn above average income in the B2B world, when your product line is promos.
