What To Market to ReMax Agent ?

Hi guys . It's been a long time since I posted here something.

Today I recieved in my mailbox ReMax listing with almost 20 agents only in my area of the city (its a large city) and with their name and phone number.

How Can I (or anyone) can monteize this ?

What should I offer them ?

What service that related to online marketing I can offer them?

Hope you guys get my question..

    In thruth there's only one thing they really want and that's leads.

    You can monetize that in two ways.

    1. You can set up websites that get traffic and broker the leads using a phone system like call fire etc...
    1.2. You could set up the sites and lease or sell them to them.

    2. You can teach them how to become email marketers and drive traffic to there offers and collect leads.

    So, you can sell them leads or the sites or become a consultant with them on your list as well and market to them for a long time.

      Ummm.. But they have a remax website with all their listing of their apartments and condos ...


      Or you ment that lead website .. Like a website with a simple optin page ?

        I am not saying this to be mean.. but if this is how you look at online marketing.. don't contact them at all. I can tell with that one sentence alone, you will not be able to supply any amount of value.. and everything you offer will end in failure.

        Do yourself a favor and get into IM through the use of Affiliate marketing. be it Amazon or the like. learn to develop traffic and sales. Learn how to use PPC efficiently and effectively. THEN and only then, are you ready to start monetizing these skills.

        Yes, YOU build a website that gets leads. I live in Tampa so I would do Condos for sale in Tampa Florida as a site ect...

        You then sell them the leads that come in daily. You can have them opt in or use call fire to get them on the phone live and transfer tehm to the realtor. Call fire gives you a statement and you bill the realtor $40 or so per call.

        It's really simple.

    Offer to write press releases promoting their listings.

    Create a local blog that allows them to promote their listings and you'll be able to promote other things as well... or a facebook page instead.

    Sale unique flyers for their listings.

    Sale them really nice business cards and post cards.

    Help them do EDDM on their own.

    Simply put ... anything you'd do for a catering business you can do for a real estate agent.

    If you are going to work with and deal with real estate agents (sales person)... Make sure that they have been in the business a while and have money ready to invest into online marketing now. Stay away from new agents or broke agents pretending to be successful. Personally I would only deal with the principal, that being the real estate broker.

    What are you good at doing that could be of assistance?

    Without this knowledge we cannot be of much assistance. For all we know you might be skilled at staging homes, delivering flyers, or writing copy.

    Having a list of numbers doesn't mean anything unless you have something of value they want.

    I dont get why it is so hard to get straight answers in this forum. We are all well aware that it is about creating value and generating money for the client. The OP wants to know the specific ways of the niche.

    I target real estate agents in a different country.

    You can sell:
    - Agent/broker website, which they already have because they are in a global network
    - SEO services, which you can only sell to one agency per area
    - Social media management and content generation in order to create leads
    - Resell them CRM and property management software
    - SEM services to one agency per area
    - There are people suggesting you to create a lead generation funnel, through optimized sites, etc. If you can actually pull this off for the area, you are better off monetizing those leads as an actual agent vs selling then.

    If you split the comission with the selling agent and you operate as a buying agent for the leads you generated, you can make around 3-5% of the list price of a sold house. Way more than the pennies you will be getting paid for the leads.

    I'd be down to become their IT consultant as well, they dont need something hard, just someone that can help them with setting up their emails, bandwith management, hosting issues, software license management, IT support, etc..

    Also been playing with the idea of selling a managed service consisting of a live chat assistant in each agent site. Adding a Zopim chatbox to their already existing site with a VA ready to answer any questions or inquires at most times of the day.

    What was the promotion? A postcard? Letter? Magazine?

    This tells you HOW ReMax does coop ads. The agents probably didn't pay much or anything to be listed. So, you now KNOW the kind of message vehicle that the company spends money on. It would be safe to assume the agents will follow suit.

    20 agents spread across the city, so what I would do, is print off a few maps of the city, East, West, etc. And literally cut and paste each agent on their respective map. Assuming you know the city, you can see which agents are selling affluent homes, middle class homes, inner city and maybe commercial r multi-unit places.

    ALL 20 want/need more LISTINGS. This is a Realtor's lifeblood. Sure, sales are great, but a Realtor with a lot of listings, is gold.

    Now you know what they want? But what do you want?

    A glossed over discussion is the TIME needed to fulfill whatever you sell them. Yea, maybe, possibly you'll get to that few hours a week of maintenance but be prepared to spend a lot of time getting this set up.

    I use a comparison TIME sheet, how much of my time would be needed. At my stage of the game, I look for REMOTE methods of contact, no to minimum face time, automation, a sell, quickly...and with renewable parts.

    What would that look like? Maybe an EDDM piece for the zip code of an agent with some sort of free offer, and with a little piece of the action. Per response? Like the firecall example, maybe 40 or something per lead (if doing lead gen, you MUST have control of the lead).

    So brainstorm. You have 20 targets. You know what they want. You know how much of your time and have a good idea of the return on your TIME investment. Many of the ideas presented are clunky, time consuming, and sloppy. It is no wonder so many work 40-60 hours a week, because they haven't taken the time to think about what is involved, A-Z, start to finish, how much TIME and all the details involved.

    You rec'd something which triggered a good "how can I profit from this" response.

    You've been given a lot of ideas (most too sloppy for me)...so it is great you've started the thinking process, now continue THINKING and flesh out a workable plan of action which considers your time.
