Anyone know good software to track Sales through Resellers?

We need a way to credit our sales reps when their resellers buy online from us.

We've just launched our business selling products through sales reps finding resellers-- that's it, only 1 level down. Sales reps a territory, they find resellers to sell our programs. Resellers simply keep their commissions; they collect full price then order from us at wholesale. Sales reps get 20% commission on all sales their resellers make. Ideally, we want resellers to login to place their orders in such a way that their sales rep gets credit in the process.
What is the best way to do this?

    There are a few ways of doing this. you could set up an internal affiliate program. so they would access the system via a redirect page that leaves the trail. you could have them sign in and have the account already associated to the rep. Something as simple as requiring a territory number at checkout ( if there is more than one rep in a territory make the 2nd digit different )

    All kinds of ways.. it just depends on the ability at hand to program the features in or make use of plugins ( if you are using wordpress / woocommerce )

      Thank you for your insights. The website is Wordpress, but I don't know how to go about what you suggest. Looked into setting it up as affiliate, but what I saw wouldn't let me keep everything on my site (they'd have to set up an affiliate acct elsewhere). If there are WP plugins, how would they work? Not real handy with programming, unfortunately; simple is better.

          Because you can change some of the sign up data with this I would suggest https://wordpress.org/plugins/affiliates-manager/ as a solution.

          I believe there is the option one the "reseller" is sign-up, from that point forward their purchases are tracked ( as long as they sign in ) so there would be no issues with knowing what Rep is associated with what reseller.
