Should the headline be the same as the body copy since it's only 9 words??

When I write personal emails, my headlines are like, "Ewen - 9 Word Emails" etc.

        Haha!

I just messed up his statistics and subscribed (well... it's from 2013, so I'm sure he won't mind. Ha).

Whelp, my question was answered on the second page. Haha

        Thanks!

How can you know that an offline magazine is getting a 68% opt-in rate?

I was wondering this too... seems like it would be impossible to track reliably?

Very easy to track because all traffic was coming from that magazine ad
then there is only one possible action, give email address.on landing page.

So of all visitors to that landing page, 68% give their email
to get what was promised in the ad.

That's so funny! Several years ago, I ran nearly identical (method) ads for network marketers to generate leads. The ads were placed in mlm/homebiz magazines, on postcards or card decks sending people to a one-page site with nothing else on it but an image with text and an opt-in form below... :-)

It worked very well. Truly interested people wouldn't go online and click away without requesting the report only because the content wasn't given away on that page... We actually had more email requests than 1-800 voicemail messages.

PS. You could also ask them to send an email to your autoreponder address to get the report.
