Question about my business model

I have a question for you into lead generation. Iv currently been generating leads from making cold calls. I have a virtual call center and it working out pretty nicely. what im doing right now is generating the leads and then i sell them off right away for a fixed amount and forward the info through email to my clients. what im lookin for is more automation and steadier income.Should i have clients pay for a certain number of leads for the month upfront? can i charge a flat monthly fee kinda like a subscription? basically im just looking to make the income more recurring instead of generating the leads then having to go out and find buyers. if anyone has any suggestions of a smoother business model id love to hear it. thanks in advance.

You should sell "packages". 20-50 leads at a time. Paid in advance. Delivered over a month, for each client. That is what they will say yes to, because that is the industry standard way of doing it which they ALREADY do, in many cases. Especially with Insurance companies and the like.

Unless you have a huge room, you wont make a fortune, but you can make a decent living at this. I would start with existing customers and tell them you are changing to a prepay format,to better enable you to produce quality custom leads specifically designed for each client.

Study online call center prices for various types of leads, and price yourself a tad higher to separate yourself from the pack. Quality is more important than price for most lead buyers. If you are already getting re orders then they must trust your quality.

You could establish a monthly contract also if you like, for serious customers who reorder regularly for a lower price..

I understand, thanks John that makes sence. unfortunatly no i dont have a big room. only me and two others (close friends). If for some reason i didnt produce say the full 50 leads or whatever they paid for would i refund them the amount of that lead, credit them, or just continue a little longer until i hit the 50. do you know what i mean? These are the main things im trying to figure out cuz right now will set say 6 leads in a day then i just start calling clients until someone pays me for them. Its usually really easy I sell them on the first call and ill rotate who i call so i can service a couple different clients.however what you said selling "packages seems alot simpler. we sell leads for $35 each btw.

one piece of advice my i learned from a succcessful entrepreneur Eben Pagan is that "if you stop working you should expect to see a dip in your income" what hes saying is if you are consistent, your income will be consistent, if you stop working your income will stop going up. Same is true with a regular job, if you stop working you dont get paid, nothing changes with working for yourself. hope this helps!

This will help you. Dont worry, I'm not trying to sell you anything, but several people here have gotten into this business from it. It will answer alot of these very direct questions that you are asking, very directly. The writing may suck but the information is pure gold!
