"How to Attract High Paying Clients & Product Buyers Thru Offline Seminars... Using PLR"

(that's me on stage having a little fun exercise with the audience)

One of the easiest ways to get projects (or build your offline reputation) is thru speaking engagements

And I believe anyone can do it... I started out as a natural shy guy, anyway

You could simply piggy-back on existing "niche" related events, share your knowledge for about 30mins or so... and come off the stage as a rockstar in the eyes of your audience

And one of those audiences could be your next client or buyer of your products

This process alone cuts the pain of having to hard-sell your products or services

Now, there are some challenges, of course... especially if you're just starting out

...BUT so does other things worth doing in life
(there are shortcuts though, but you still gotta hustle - you're in the IM community, that should give TONS of advantage in the offline world... and if you're just gonna complain that this is "too hard for you because of this and that"... booooo hooooooo, I get it... but get the drama out... just go out there and get things done, regardless of results... be process oriented and let experience teach you --- anyone can do this, even a guy with no leg and arms can do it --- if you're not convinced, PM me and I'll show you... enough blabble --- back to the shortcut)
One question you could be asking yourself would be:

"What do I talk about during my time on the stage?"

I've had this challenge too

You need "content" to pull this off

One shortcut I found lies in the world of "private label rights" (or PLR) products

These are ready made "content" you can use as your own, claim authorship, etc.

I really wished I knew about this while I was just starting out because these materials could really be big time and effort savers

Anyway...

You get a PLR product related to to your niche and use that in your appearance on stage

Drop "hints" that you give out services (or you have products to sell, even digital) throughout your talk

You'll get attention for sure

But that's just the first part

Most likely, they'd be asking you questions "backstage" - and you'd be tempted to make them happy and answer them all

BUT you have to resist, and compose yourself

Now that you have your prospects' attention, you want to be in a "good position" to negotiate

Tell them you appreciate all the questions... and that "it'll be more beneficial for them" if you talked privately about their business, thru phone or a Skype meeting

This means you must have a plan to follow through

Ask for their business cards, email or contact numbers

And drop a hint about your "price range" - this is to weed out those who can't afford your services for now

You're not being snobbish here

You're just being respectful of everybody's time

After that, get out of the venue... go take a stroll, or go home and romance your girl...

Then...

When your head is clear and you've rejuvenated (you should if you followed the advice above) --- get your thinking cap on

Remember those people who approached you and analyze if there's a prospect you'd be happy to work with among them

This is to give yourself a "priority" list of people to set up a phone or a personal appointment with

From there, it's mostly asking "questions" about the the client and his business... and reflecting those questions back to their problems and solution you bring

Let me give you two questions to start with:

1) What's the #1 problem you want solved (in relation to the niche)
2) What would be the #1 benefit in your life if you got this problem solved

Proceed from there

Don't get discouraged if you don't close all deals

I didn't

Do this enough times and you'll see your getting better

There's just no other way but to improve

Eventually you find yourself closing deals for projects a thousand dollars up

By this time, it's good to have a follow up system as well

As a recap:

1. Find seminars you can piggy-back on
2. Give an awesome presentation - use PLR products to supplement your content
3. Network a bit after your talk, and get people's contact information
4. Setup a meeting / phone call - ask questions here
5. Close / Follow up
