Marketing a Residential Alzheimer's Facility

Hello,

I'm fairly new here and I know that I haven't provided much value, yet, but I'm hoping the group can help with some ideas. I have a client that provides Alzheimer's care in residential homes. He offers all of the services you'd find at a large Alzheimer's facility, but does it in a home setting. He has 5 local homes that he's converted into memory care facilities. He provides 2 nurse, 24 hours and has 1 memory care physician that bounces around to the 5 locations as necessary.

I think he has a terrific business model and I'd love to be able to help him out, but I don't know if it's within my wheelhouse. My client contacted me for digitally market his business (website and social media). My concern is that his targets aren't using the internet the same way other generations are.

My initial thought to help is an EDDM a piece that introduces the services and directs targets to the website to find more info and contact my client. I also thought targeted facebook ads might be beneficial.

My question for the group... How can I, most efficiently, get the word out about my clients business offline? Any thoughts, insights, ideas are welcomed. Thank you!

I need to run but wanted to leave this little bit... I don think you are understanding who your "Target" is. There are actually tons of case studies for retirement homes and Memory Homes that get into the demographic of the contacts.

You are thinking the patient is the point of contact, and the data and case studies on this would be that its the sons and daughters of the patient that would be the real point of contact.

I will try and dig up some references for you later!

I agree with Savidge4 . You have to know who your target is, and basically your target would be the family members of the patients . Lots of families have people Alzheimer disease, so it would be good for you to set up targeted facebook ad campaigns in your local area. I would start there.

If he is running licensed facilities than he should have no problem getting "Clients or Residents"(Note you do Not call them Patients)if he is in direct contact with Retirement homes,Hospital outcare services and Doctors. With the great need for facilities these are needed more than one realizes. My daughter runs a 25 bed locked down facility because of flight risks and they do not have to advertise as they are well know by means of the above Hospitals etc because these clients are flight risks in Hospitals and Retirement homes which cannot accomadate them.So wanting to do website is fine but focus in other direction.
