Data Trends for Head Offices?
Hi All,
I have a large spreadsheet of over a million data records, and I need to extract those businesses that are more likely to be head offices of larger companies.
Removing duplicates works wonders, however if the first record it comes across is a satellite office, we then need to research the head office of the company, making the record redundant.
My question is this: What trends might head offices have? I have chosen postcode (CBDs are more likely) and city (larger cities are more likely to have a head office), but what else can I use?
Someone has suggested disqualifying the words 'suite', 'unit' and 'shop' from the address, as a larger company will likely have a whole floor or premises.
Any suggestions appreciated.
