Party Rental Business.

Hello,

This is my first thread here. I started a party rental business. I have a huge bouncing castle that I purchased. Its 40ft, it really stands out. I'm also thinking of partnering up with a DJ, a clown etc in my locality. Any suggestions from the marketing experts here? I could use all the help I get. Thanks again to everyone in advance.

    Co-market with birthday cake makers.

Rank high in Google for for kids parties + your city and such keywords.

Sponsor something your local kindergarten and elementary schools are doing... Buy ads in their play/concert booklet.

I agree with the reply above - invest in your Internet Marketing and SEO education - it will really pay off big with time!

Local SEO right now is so profitable and not much competition - just yet.

You can rank for Local Keywords and Long Tail Keywords.

I highly recommend you to build your own Website and also have a Blog Section.

If you want people to find your site through the search engines, high quality content is what you want to be publishing - regularly. In other words, just BLOG.

Blogging will help you in so many ways!

For starters, it will help your website and your business be found easily through the search engines. And in the long run, your site can start to build up a good amount of online traffic - and at that point you can monetize it with Affiliate Products and Services.

For an instance; you can become an Amazon Affiliate and have ads throughout your site for Bouncy Castles for sale on Amazon. And things like that.

While you are getting a lot of Local Business thanks to your site - you can also build something that can make you money on autopilot in the long run.

That is the beautiful thing about Internet Marketing, SEO and Blogging!

This is what I would do, if I was in your shoes right now

    Hope this helps!

    Keep up the great work!

    Cheers!

    These are great ideas.

I'm getting a website ready now. I didn't think about adding a blog, I guess I could do that too.

The bit about marketing with cake business and elementary schools is also great. I'm going to do that too. Thanks.

I wouldn't spend too much time blogging. Yes a good website with some nice articles can help but give me a break a blog?

All you would want is to get yourself to the top of Google. Nothing else.

I would call up all the schools and bigger churches or any organization that is likely to throw a festival. Get in to those and then promote your business to the moms that are there.

I was thinking of calling Churches and schools. I have worked as a telemarketer before.

Any other business that can offer me referrals and any suggestions for what I can offer the business apart from a cut of the sale?

Thanks again everyone for their help. Really Excited.

Be sure to put a yard sign out every time you set up. What could be better advertising than setting up in a neighborhood and having kids playing on it with a sign in front.

You can run a ad in front of mothers who have children with a upcoming birthday
right in your location, right in Facebook.

Saves wasted money and effort on those that won't buy.

    Best,
    Ewen

Oh, how about party supply stores. Get some info to them because that's where people go for just that purpose. Maybe a display or something of what you have to offer by the register. Work a JV deal if necessary and give them a cut.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

I'm getting some signs and the bouncing cage I've got, its 40 ft. It HUGE!

Is there any mediums apart from Facebook that I can advertise on to get more church events.

Also I'd like to do the festivals and trade shows. Any ideas on how to get the trade show people to rent this from me. I also have a food truck that I'd like to place in their shows. I was thinking of making some sort of deal where they give me a discount on the space for the food truck and I can give them a discount on the arena. Any thoughts?

LOVE bouncing things! OMG I could spend hours in there -- adult time is the best. But I'm too big for that .. lol.

So yeah ; sending fliers to school ; good but school is almost out so that might not work very well.

Try pools , libraries and camps.

Working with partying companies is good too ; show them great pictures and give coupons. Ask them for their coupons too! Offer a trade.

Try to get ads in coupon books... love those things.

Don''t do direct mail until August since school is close to starting then. Create a set "poke" plan for your direct mail campaign ; so that people think of you first and everyone else second. Like 3 or 4 mails in a three month plan so people remember you. Keep the discount the same throughout. If you partner with a clown , a dj and a baker you can cut the cost of the direct mail by a lot.

    Keep moving forward!

    Hello,

    Thanks for the reply.

Thats great. My gf said the same thing about pools and libraries.

I will definitely do the poke thing with the direct mail thing.
