Anyone know of any companies that'll provide a free local phone number with call forwarding so I don't have to use my cell phone?

      I have used them. Only drawback: there's a little message you hear when you call: Google will try to connect you.

      For many, that's not a drawback. For me, it was.

    thanks all. I went with Ring Central cause I needed call forwarding and a back end dashboard to monitor the calls.
