Webinar charging question

I am hosting a webinar for a very specific niche of business owners. I want to charge $97 for the 2-day, 2-hour webinar. I will have an offer at the end of each webinar session (mobile app and marketing mgmt).

What are people's thought of having a PAID webinar vs. a free webinar?

My feeling is if I offer it free, business owners will take this really good info that I am presenting and use it themselves without hiring my services. So, a $97 2-day webinar will cover my time, etc. - as well as possibly getting some offline clients.

What do think?

Also - this is a niche that can afford the $97.

Thanks in advance.

2 words.. "Benefit Analysis" ok ok with a bit added extra.. also consider the cost of not showing the presentation and the amount lost in doing so.

If a business owner can afford a $97 webinar where there is a pitch at the end then they can probably spend their time more efficiently on profit producing activity.

The ones who can give up two days to be pitched to...are you sure?

I don't mind paying for lunch.

    But paying for a pitch?

The usual approach is to give away your best stuff without selling the farm and then making an irresistible offer for something you have educated the webinar attendee to desire by the end of the webinar.

This webinar by Taki Moore might help you understand some of what you are trying to achieve
