Lead Generation for Motoring Roadside Assistance using FB , Instagram,Pinterest and Youtube.

by edem_sosu 4 replies
As I mentioned above I am trying to generate leads using the four platforms above to generate leads. This is how I intend to go about it:

1.Facebook: I shall be running News feed ads offering a 10% discount voucher to sign up with us and a further 10% if you phone in immediately and sign up.

2.Instagram: I intend to buy shout outs from accounts that have a large following of people from my target areas.

3.Pinterest: Buy Shout outs on boards followed by my target audience.

4.Youtube: Videos on how to maintain your vehicle to avoid breakdowns.

Please feel free to comment I need all the advice I can get. This is the first time I am attempting something like this.

Social Media Marketing requires well planned strategy campaigns. Plus, very important, the funnel flows must be very well planned and crafted as well. That means, success will depend very much on the approach you take to draw visitors to your website from Social Media, the message used and the continuity thereafter. And then, how things are handled once they land on your page is also important, it needs to be tweaked to be brought to the maximum conversion rate.

Your plan is all fine and good... BUT... you are going to lead with a discount offer? I may be wrong ( probably not ) but the offer is weak.. and will get little to no response.

When you think road side assistance.. what name comes to mind? AAA right? What separates what you are offering from AAA?

AAA has 55.6 million members..thats 55.6 million people that have already proven they will buy.. that's 55.6 million opportunities to convert those members to your offer. Do you think a discount will get them to convert? I think not.

You need to target those 55.6 million members... you need to show why your offer is better. you need to swing a bit below the belt ( which may be hard to do with facebook guidelines ) and shock and awe people to even look at your offer.

you need to study some here.. try this to start ( https://thefinancebuff.com/what-is-aaa-really.html ) read the comments specifically...

So lead gen that says something like "What insurance companies don't tell you about their Roadside assistance programs" leading to a page about how using the tow service can increase your rate...

or something like... "Guaranteed premium for X years" leading to a page that shows AAA's increase year over year.. how your car insurance policy increases year over year.. how a car dealership policy sky rockets after the initial period....

There are many possible points of attack in a campaign like this.. you need to probably test M A N Y to find the one thatdraws the most eyeballs, and click throughs.

    Best of luck

How aware of the company are the prospects you are trying to attract?

All of the channels you are looking at using are out near the top of the funnel and won't necessarily convert into leads. You may improve awareness but to get leads you probably need a better strategy.

Getting people to buy from an ad on Facebook where there is only a small incentive is tough to achieve.

If you did want to generate leads from Facebook you might be better off going down a survey and competition route.

    Something like this...

    Ad copy headline
Choose the most common breakdown requiring assistance

Graphic of two broken down vehicles one with Bonnet Up, one Jacked Up

Above the two images you put THIS or THAT?

    Body copy reads-->

Choose the most common breakdown and enter to WIN one of FOUR roadside assistance packages worth $200. Vote Now.

Then you take them to a simple survey page where they get to CHOOSE and enter their details to go into the draw.

You could use a couple of fields in the survey/entry form where you ask "how many times have you broken down?" or "age of vehicle" etc but the objective is really to get people into a list where you can then followup and move them gradually towards trusting you enough to sign up.

Here is an example we used for lead generation to a craft audience who had an interest in needlecraft-->

An example of the survey page and how we ran the opt-in is at the link below.

Note how the survey is split up between pages and there is a prize.

    Survey page is here--->
    https://go.masterframeracademy.com/needlecraft-survey

After they opted in we followed up with an engagement series of emails and a tripwire offer to learn how to frame needleworks.

I've used a similar approach for a wide variety of markets and I've always found it a better way to go than trying to make a flat out offer on Facebook.

Other people may tell you something else but that is my experience.

All of the other channels are most likely to just increase awareness of the brand unless you are starting to offer specific solutions that people are searching for.

When people are broken down they are not likely to be searching out how to fix the problem themselves more likely they are searching for a "local mechanic" or a "pay as you go roadside assistance" or a "local tow truck operator."

Any assets you create inside youtube or pinterest etc can be used as part of the email followup campaign to increase engagement.

Anyway there's some things for you to think about.

    Best regards,

    Ozi
