Best Recurring Income Models

by thefsboking 3 replies
What marketing services that provide recurring income to a consultant are more requested by business owners/marketing managers? I am not speaking of the local plumber or flower shop but businesses with over 1M in annual revenue and a marketing budget that allows them to spend $1,000 or more each month.

My mind says PPC management and maybe SEO in the form of good content marketing. I am hoping to hear from someone who is doing the business but all helpful responses are welcome.

It always comes back to lead generation and conversions.

I've worked with companies where we've had specialists running PPC and social media but they all integrate into a holistic approach where everything is part of a larger digital strategy.

My role has always been more with developing the strategy and working on sales process engineering and then managing the implementation using a variety of specialists who work together to produce the outcome the company desires.

Ultimately is is about generating more qualified prospects who convert into leads who then become customers all whilst producing a positive ROI.

Larger businesses have many KPI's that each section needs to meet.

What you need to do is help them meet their KPIs via whatever service you offer.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

Whatever you can do to produce consistently better results than they can...

    My clients fit your profile.

I take over the email and direct mail marketing and I'm paid by retainer and commission, so mostly paid on performance... And my results are always spectacular...

I'd consider myself better at SEO than email marketing, however I have some writers who are very good at writing emails, and I just reuse their emails over and over, just changing the offers. SEO takes far more time and effort and can take a while to produce results. Our starter email campaigns used to be two weeks, now we've got them down to four days, so client sees a spectacular result in just four days... Consequently, there is rarely any resistance...

For recurring income, I like to tie into something they are already doing.

    Why?

It's easier. You don't have to "sell them" on the idea.

They already believe in it and demonstrate that belief by spending money on it.

Sometimes you can show them how your offer will save them money and/or improve performance on their existing service.

These are easy and very profitable recurring income sales, that can last for years.
