Question for Offliners in India

Hi Friends in India,

I was wondering whether you guys are much into offline businness at all. Going by my experience, getting into offline business here is next to impossible if you are talking about any kind of reasonable money.

The only time I had an offline offer here offered INR 9000 (around $200) per month by a famous brand of Class 1-12 Schools for God-knows-what since even the first discussion had never materialized and the money was mentioned only when the first and only phone call happened (they had initiated the call, hearing about Sudeshna and myself from word of mouth).

If you are in offline business in India, then how did you ever get your first client? What are the business verticals/angles/perspectives that you have to take care of? How much effort do you have to invest? Do you need to have employees? Approximately what kind of money can you expect to see in revenues and profits?

Hope to get at least one positive answer - though I have my own doubts.
