Ranked Website - Hair Removal Industry

Hey guys,

I have a website ranked #1 on Google Maps, and organic SEO for ____ (city) hair removal, laser hair removal, and electrolysis. I've contacted about 5 local hair removal businesses in my city and none of them wanted to hear me out. What strategies do you guys recommend to sell the site.

BTW, the site is very well laid out, I'm getting numerous email and calls every day from that site (I put my email and phone number on Contact Form).

Ideas?

If they don't want to buy the site outright, they might be interested in buying leads from you.

What was your pitch and offer? I cannot believe someone would turn down business leads, but the key is all in how you present the opportunity.

I know, it was frustrating because I knew I could help them out; but they didn't trust me and were skeptical. Basically, I would either call them, or show up at their business.

When I showed up, I asked to see the manager, if the manager was there (like 30% of the time), I would basically start it like this:

" Hi, I'm J nice to meet you" *shake hand*
      "Hi..."
"So I'm here because..basically I have a website that people are calling almost everyday about hair removal in ____ (my city). "
      "Okay.."
"These people are looking for services that you can offer, how would you like to test it out for a week and get free leads?"

"No thanks, we already have a website."

That was probably the best out of the 5 conversations I had with the owners. The other 4 were really skeptical, and 1 kind of just said "no thank, no thanks", wouldn't hear me out at all...

So how do you get around this? I'm trying to basically sell the site, or monetize it's #1 page rank somehow.

I would pick a reputable hair removal company from the third or fourth page of G for the keyword. Stick their details on your site for a few days. Let them get a jump in enquiries. Then walk in a few days later and introduce yourself.
If they don't like your proposal, do the same again until you get a yes.

Does your sales pitch stress the DOLLAR amount. ROI and how much overall profit margin will increase on a monthly, yearly basis if they buy your website

How about instead of trying to sell the website (since most of them are telling you that they already have one) try to say for example: "Hello, I am an Internet Traffic Generation Specialist, and I currently own a website that is producing X amount of highly qualified leads per day in your niche- Would you be interested in purchasing those leads from me?... see I built the website, but now I don't know what to do with these people who are asking me for services, and obviously this is not my niche or specialty?

Then if they ask you why you built a website like that if you are not in that field, you can say that you started building that website for a client, but the client had to close the doors right before you delivered the site to them, or something like that!

I would make sure that I speak their language and try not to use technical words like SEO, Traffic, etc...explain it in simple words so they can understand it.

On a different note, do you mind sharing what tactics you used to rank the site? I am trying to rank and do kind of the same thing you are doing, but with a real estate website in my local area.!

P.S.: Don't get discourage, I am sure if you practice your pitch you'll get a YES soon!

I recommend going in with some print materials.

It makes you look more professional. Hand them an analysis of their website SEO and their ranking, then show them your website's SEO analysis and rankings. Show them the traffic your website gets and explain it could be theirs.

Tell them they can either get tons of leads from you for $xxx/lead or they can buy the lead funnel outright after a certain amount of time. Make sure to mention that you can only work with ONE company and that there is scarcity involved.

Mention you'll be contacting company x and y (their competition) also with the same offer, so somebody is going to take it if they dont.

Be nonchalant and as though it doesn't really matter what they say, but be confident in the fact you're offering a stellar product.

If they say no, I'd be amazed.

Perhaps ask questions like: How many new clients does your website generate?... Oh really? Well mine's bringing in __ times that many!

Things like that. Show them the value, make them understand, and they will always say yes.
