With the widespread of mobile phones, the possibilities are boundless. But utilizing SMS as a form of marketing would incur additional expenses and the conversion is not yet time-tested. So far, I haven't encountered any SMS marketing yet.

All ready getting ready to offer this service and it's very simple and uncomplicated to set up. Client pays all the fees, so I just add my monthly fee to the standard fees, and do the work for them.

Each biz can have their own Keyword, 250 customers (on the low side, but plenty big for my small area,) and 2000 text messages per month.

    Hi Robert,

I think a lot of people would go for a WSO on mobile marketing, although it would be too rich for my blood right now. I actually have a nice mobile marketing website that I set up a while ago and am itching to promote offline. It's an affiliate site for a top company but if I could justify the expense and find the funds could easily turn it into a reseller account or brand it through private label. As you mention, the potential for recurring income is phenomenal.

I'm not sure how to pitch it though. As others have mentioned in other threads most businesses are still unfamiliar with it and its hard to get in the door to even get chatting with business owners about it and communicate its value. It's quite frustrating actually so if you could lay out a 'plan of attack' it would help a lot. Even the company I'm an affiliate for, which is now one of the top in the UK, when I spoke to the owner he said they didn't even have a solid marketing plan but he just knew from the start that many businesses needed it and he had a big budget for widespread advertising so customers came to him, something I don't have.

At the moment it's just easier for me to cold-call businesses and offer Google Places listings and websites which I can easily communicate the value of in under a minute. Then I can offer the SMS marketing as an upsell.

Thank you for taking the time to add some great input. The actual marketing
plan that we have been discussing with business owners has made this a
very very easy sale. In fact within 4 minutes most of them GET IT. You dont
need a big budget to market it. I wanted to be able to give warriors a chance
to build up a quick 2000k residual on a 200.000 outgoing platform. I wont take
time to just write a Training WSO without offering the Product for warriors to sell
as its a Very complicated platform to get involved in.

Thanks again for the input...if you need anything at all please let me know...

    Hey folks,

Setting up a mobile marketing system is NOT that expensive. Pay per text, then from $25-$200 a month, depending upon the plan you use.

You can always start cheap, and expand as the client base grows. All you need is one customer at $200+/- a month, and your fees are paid for.

Pete, that is not a viable plan for a business in my opinion, you need too have
unlimited or at least 10k in outgoing texts. A viable marketing plan is just that.
I get a sense your hijacking this thread with a very very veiled sales pitch...
please do not do so....or create a thread for the above program you mentioned.

I already have the connections...I am checking interest with the WF to decide if
i want to install the platform for them to use.....

Have a profitable day my friend...

Be careful about throwing out the charge of "hijacker" here. Pete merely stated that he is doing the same project for a lower price. He did NOT include any affiliate link, website, company name, etc. Your accusation is basely in my opinion.

    Robert,

No, I'm not trying to "hijack" your post, and yes, it CAN be done at the prices I quoted.

The difference lies in the programs YOU offer your clients, and what I offer MINE.

In an area the size I live in, there is no need for a 10K or unlimited messaging at this point. Not in an area of less than 20K people.

However, I too have the ability to bump them up if need be.

    Regards,

    Pete

Would this still make sense to offer if I am targeting many offline businesses nationwide?.......And it would be $197 per 8 offline clients that would want to take advantage of this offer?

197 a month for 8 keywords. You can then sell one keyword to each business. Each additional keyword Cost $20 a month. Thats what we are looking at.. hope this made it clear.

so for 197 month you could have 8 business's each using one keyword and charging between 150 and 750 a month with unlimited texting. Need to add a 9th business, cost you $20 a month.

You want WAAAAY to much. Sure it will make money for you and others too but I feel your pricing it high. At your prices it wouldn't take long to pay for a custom whitelabel product. And don't worry about I am not hijacking your deal. Several others have told you it's toooo much.

You mention using texting for Chiropractors, Lawyers, Doctors, Dentists, etc. for appointment reminders.

Are you just setting up everyone who has an appointment on Monday to be texted "REMEMBER your Monday appointment"?

I had thought about that but it seemed so generic since you can't remind them of the exact time. Also are you currently using this in this manner with clients?

The reason I ask is to me it seems like a lot of work on a daily basis (or one day a week) to enter in everyones phone number for their appointment date the next week.

I'm just trying to wrap my head around the various uses of texting but can't quite picture it with appointment yet so hopefully you can help me with that.

I see it for businesses like restaurants where their customers opt-in and you never do anything except blast out events, offers, etc. (In this manner it is a simple marketing tool to use and very beneficial).

HeyAdMan, u r correct that app't reminders may not be cost effective. I would do 'special offers' for professionals - Most professionals know what offers they have done successfully in offline advertising n u can adapt to Mobile Marketing

    Ridiculous monthly price

Warriors, cutting right to the chase. We all know that mobile media is on the rise, and
you can create an incredible impact with clients. Imagine being able to set one of your
clients up with a Text Messaging platform, and creating monthly re-occuring billing.

    Who will this work for...

    Chiropractors - Appointment reminders
Restaurants - Sending out Coupons, discounts, and freebies
Bars/Clubs - Contests and Theme nights
    Lawyers - Appts

The list is endless, i have a huge demand from clients for this platform...

    Statistics
93% of all texts are opened -vs- 21% via email

83% are opened within one hour of reciept

    Opt in Only

    Build huge lists

    Contests, Giveaways, Free Content

Build Text and Email lists at the same time

    Whats the catch...

This is a polling question for you guys... If we offered a WSO to 100 Warriors only
would you use this product. We would provide you with the following...

Complete video training on how to approach, pitch and close clients.
How to set up re-occuring monthly billing.
How to maximize profitablity for clients and yourself.
How to use this tool to gather more clients and have your clients refer you.

Incredible Pricing they cant get anywhere...

    Warrior Details...

This is an attempt to feel out you guys and decide if the market is here for offline
    consultants...

    Limited to 100 Warriors only

    WSO Cost $297.00

    Your montly Mobile Cost
    $197

This would include 10 client keywords to the short code
    example:

    Text the word

    Texas to 99999
    pizza to 99999
    Gold to 99999
    Montego to 99999

you would get a total of 8 words to the same short code in this example the
    short code would be 99999.

You would have the ability to have 8 clients with each paying you from
$147 per month to as much as $797 per month for their keyword to the short code 99999.

99999 is not our short code this is an example only

    It includes Unlimited texting...

Each additional Keyword would cost you $50 initial set up fee and $25 per month.

As a warrior your initial Montly billing would be $297 per month... it dosnt take
a rocket scientist to see how fast you could build this up. Now, this is strictly
a Temperature test for Warrior Interest If there is enough interest and
activity we will strongly consider putting this together.

Please Leave any and all feedback with questions... To your Continued Success
    Regards,
    Robert

    Nope.

    Because...
    1. You can get your own shortcode for about 3 years for the same proposed cost of your WSO.
    2. You can get your own keyword for a whole year for less than a quarter of your monthly rate.
    3. If you send them via your computer, most mobile phone companies will give you about a thousand free texts per month on any pay-as-you-go phone number anyway. Realistically, that's more than most small businesses will ever send anyway.
    4. Quite a lot of what is advocated in almost every "mobile marketing" WSO and similar products I have seen to date has been illegal here, and in the rest of the European Union, for the better part of 10 years.
    Tommy.
