My Packages For Offline Businesses Swipe Away...

Here is a rough draft of what I will upsell my clients when I get in the door. I also am working on an SEO package. I just wanted to see if you guys could look at the two packages below and tell me what you think... They are images as I did the graphics and such in photoshop. Please let me know what you think!

Looks pretty good! If you don't mind me asking, in your social media package you say Viral Marketing Software installed, what software are you referring to?

I know and see the upfront value that caries over past month one, but how are you going to position the value other than the one post per week for the $297/month for the basic Sociel Media Package? I would almost raise the upfront price and drop the monthly fee a little if your doing that much upfront work then only doing one post a week after month one. I could just see some business after it's all set up not wanting to pay $297 for 4 facebook posts a month, thinking they could do that part on their own. That way you would be covered for your initial work setting it all up if they decided to not continue the monthly service.

I can see the business seeing the value in the Youtube package and the monthly fee there, or maybe that's your point, you want them to upgrade to that one from the start.

Hey chad thanks for posting, Yes you are right 1 post a week isnt much but these folks will be paying for my consulting on how to create contests and promos and other stuff ongoing so that the page stays exciting and fun! and yes I sure hope they take the upsell package after they see the value of the video stuff...

    Great feedback thanks!

Okay, so the consulting is ongoing, that makes more sense. Like I said, I see the value and know what your'e doing upfront, just as long as the client know's and can see that the monthly is worth it.

    Good luck with it!

So he pays $1800 a month to carry on a disingenuous relationship with prospective clients?

Yes, insane. That's sort of the entire idea of social media - relationships.

Actually I think the price is okay. A good sales rep is much more expensive. But of course a social media admin wouldn't necessarily be trained to know how to identify potential sales opportunities within the pool of relationships based on the interaction that's taking place - rather people who approach social media this way simply see it as some sort of evolution of broadcast media.

Why, if I have 2,000,000,000 people following me on Twitter, and I post a link every 15 minutes to an affiliate offer, I'll be rich beyond my wildest dreams!!

Social media is a two-way conversation. How does one outsource a conversation?

      But that's a different topic.

Get rid of the Internet lingo.

Change your wording to "Average Joe" understanding.

Also, your prices are far too low. For your SMM package, you're training 2 hours, plus the work you're actually doing, for only $300/mo.

For consulting and training alone I won't even talk to the prospect for less than 1500/hr.
