This one was placed right on my lap and didn't take much to close with the pricing scheme above. I've never priced any job at this level and it worked!!!!

I provided a Scope Of Work Agreement and Scope Of Work Proposal with details of what I was going to do.

So excited! Now how do I scale this to my goal of 11 more in the next 11 months???

You say you've never priced at this level, so were you pricing lower and never got a client? What made you up the price on this one? Did you decide the other wasn't working, or just adjust because this client was a higher end client? Just curious.

I've been following offline marketing for a little while now and thought that I would follow suite with other and offer the service of online marketing to offline business for a more premium price.

I've mostly done website design and ultimately did alot of my own internet marketing for my own sites but kept that mostly to myself for some reason. I learned alot though. So with all the offline marketing going on I thought, hey lets see what businesses will pay?

So I put together a basic (silver package) type plan and went with it (Shown Above).

The client was a high end client with some cash - 7 figure sales each year.

In some ways I thought that higher priced service wouldn't get sold but to my surprise.... holy cow!

Now for the other 11 clients I want to get...

I will assume since it fell in your lap it was a referral. Now start a referral network of people who do nothing but call on businesses all day and refer people to you. Since you know your offer works!

Yes this was a referral, so somewhat an easier sale. I will however follow your point and try and leverage some additional clients.

I see your add-on for SEO services for $297 a year...is that strictly just basic on page optimization, or like full blow "im gonna rank you high one google" SEO work?

just wondering because if it is the latter, than that would be an extremely low figure...but if its the first one maybe once you get the redesign done (and your client is pleased) you can put together an SEO plan, charge a premium to get the client on the first page of google and charge a monthly maintenance fee that could be around 297/month and outsource all the work to members here on the forum. That is assuming you client would directly benefit from being on the first page of google.

For the most part some on page optimization will happen. Im not guaranteeing any top listing on google, yahoo or bing. That would cost a few extra dollars. Come to think of it I'm not entirely sure what to price that type of top listing?

I like your idea about having the residual monthly to keep their listing top based on their keywords.

I am aggressively holding my pricing on a per keyword basis as well which allows some good focus a single keyword campaign. If they want to add a keyword then they will get charged additionally for it. Keeping 2 or 3 keywords with top results can bring in a good monthly... $297x3/month.

Thanks. I've mainly worked on website design over the past 15 years. Though I personally haven't created many sites (31), I've slowly brought myself up to speed with HTML, PHP, actionscripting for photoshop and some asp. Most of my time over the past 5 years has mainly been internet marketing and slowly crept away from any website design (very time consuming).

So in the last year I've decided to get back up to speed with design and push the offline marketing business. 3 years ago I published 2 local magazines along with a local website which combined brought in over 35,000 in sales in each of 2 years. This was done part time since I had job.
I work still today in the IT niche but want to commit to my present thrill of online marketing, website design and sales which when I think of it is totally down my avenue and skill level.

Anyways I could go on but that would be boring... oh ya... fishing is my primary passion. www.fishingnorthernontario.com
