Hi,

How many of you is providing web hosting and management for offline businesses?

Have been thinking about offering the follow for like $50-60/mo (for very small businesses):

- They get a domain name, which I will buy.
- Hosting is included.
- Gmail account will be created and setup so the domain email works with gmail.
- The website itself will have wordpress installed with a small good looking theme which describe the business and how to contact them.
- Unlimited support requests (both phone and email).
- If they need a new image uploaded or change some text, then they just call or send an email and it will be changed as a part of the monthly subscription payment.

Long time thinking about such an action ...
Since I live in a small community, it would be locally-oriented ...
I think it's a great idea and that can be implemented ...

It really depends on where you are. I'm in Albania for example and here the general public thinks that a website is the same thing as a poster :S

But if you contact the businesses directly you can get much more than $50-$60

I mean what's $60 for a average sized business today! Zilch!

Yes. I use the same setup above, and also throw in 3-4 expiring hours of work for $200-$500/mth depending on their business. I find 99% rarely ever use the 3-4 hours per month. This leaves a tidy profit for zero work.

    Highly lucrative.
