Domain for offline client

Hello,

i was wondering which domain version would be better to achieve
good rankings in the searchengines ?

plumbercity .com

or

cityplumber .com

Which one would you prefer ?

    Hi Plato

    Pop them into Google Keyword tool and see if they show up any difference.

    If they do grab the one that has more people looking for it.

    You will most likely find that they have the same number of searches though.

    Hey,

    I always go for plumbercity.com rather than the other way around. You will find you will most likely rank for the term the other way around once you build backlinks and of course keyword rich content!

      I've done this with a lot of success as well... Just get plenty of inbound links!

    Both. When you find one you want to bank on, get the other and have it forward to it.

      I tend to prefer the plumbercity version as well, but will also compare the 2 versions in the keywordtool- makes sense. Getting both and then forwarding one is a nice idea.

    I would use use plumbercity. having tried both versions I have always found that it gets more traffic. I would add that I am based in the UK so If you are US based you may find the opposite as the majority of US offline mentors seem to go for cityplumber.

    It depends on the keywords in question. I think your best bet (if both variations are available) is to look up the Google keyword tool to see which gets higher search volume. Another thing to consider - since domains are so inexpensive, why not buy both??
