You Have 2-3 Minutes in Front of a Potential Client - What Do You Say?

Suppose you could get a potential client to watch a 2-3 minute video as an introduction to your services - a "why-they-need-you" pitch. This video would be the same for each client, so it can't be a specific critique of their individual business.

Because it's video, of course you can use charts, graphs, screencasts, screen captures, graphics, etc. -- pretty much whatever you need to make your points.

What would you say?

1. What do you think should be the OVERALL MESSAGE?

2. What SPECIFIC POINTS do you think need to be made in order to make that message clear and garner more interest?

Overall message: What they need/want, and how you could deliver those benefits better than anyone else.

What business owners want more of:
    -customers
    -sales
    -profit
    -time
    -exposure
    -traffic
    -etc

It isn't about fancy sites, complex marketing programs, or masterful copyrighting. It is all about the RESULTS, giving them the benefits that they want/need. Focus on that, and how you can do it better than anyone, and you will have no problem finding clients.

      Hey Jacer

Couldn't have put it any better than your appraisal.

Remember folks we are in the consultative selling game - find out what they want and give it to them [at a price of course].

      Regards

The old timers call this your "elevator speech," something that piques their interest.
" I teach people how to increase their business for quick, dramatic results."
"I show people how to attract huge streams of traffic to their business for immediate, profound results!"

Right. And I almost called this a 2-3 minute elevator pitch, but this is different. You've got at least 2-3 minutes, not 30 seconds. And you've got more than words and body language (although I know that's a big thing, being in person) -- you've got everything that you could put in a video.

If done right, you can do a fair amount with 2-3 minutes of video. You have some time to get into some specifics. So that's why I'm looking for ideas about more specific things.

They want your to come to them as a business partner, not just another sale. If you convey to them that you TRULY want to help their business grow, you got the sale. It's that simple. You don't even have to talk about ROI with them.

Just let them know you have their best interests at heart and convey that you know what you are talking about.

Remember, they are getting pitched from large companies for these services now more and more.

So, don't come across selling like they surely do. Build a relationship and the money will definitely follow. Meet in person or do a video for them for the best results.
