Setting a random store/table on the street selling a method to making money on the internet?

disc with an ebook in it, do you reckon that would work? Just a thought I've been thinking about seeing as majority of the world is unaware of the money potential online

Hm - hate to be rude, but I say No!

Nobody wants to be sold - try giving away info using this method and still
people won't take it. They think it's a scam.

You have to appear successful and be in a setting where people are looking
for what you have or you have a reason to improve what they already have.

Such as....you give a presentation at the Chamber of Commerce on using the
    Internet to get new customers.

haha true the skeptics of being a scam however it weighs just as much as buying a book in a store regarding making money online, it's a risk whether the book is good or not and you can't return it saying that it was a bunch of c**p

maybe you could set up brochures giving insights of what your 'disc/ebook' contains or just might as well print out a hardcopy and sell that, think that would work?

I seriously doubt it, but if you are prepared to write a decent book you could self-publish it and get it selling on Amazon. Unlikely to make you a fortune, but does help with credibility, and you may get some local publicity opportunities from it.
