    Hi Regional Warrior

Thanks for the link. It really spells out some of the things that everyone was worrying about.

Plus it allows us to move forward in the right direction.

Saw it for the first time yesterday in Google Portugal.

    What a mess...

Just Adwords + Google Maps Listings for 70% of the page.

People will never see other sites.

    ?!?!?!?!!?!?

They seem to be blending so it'll hurt business without a website most it seems or without backlinked sites. So it's good for SEO's overall I think

I've lost 90 pounds(160+ overall) fasting since January 2016 after failing for years on diets that just made me sick and miserable. Check out Prudently.com where I'm writing about fasting and weight loss. Get a Brandable Domain Name at Name Perfection.

        Hey David

We saw a new client today and took a copy of the info from the link provided by Regional Warrior to show them.

Normally we don't bother doing a website for them but suggested that a small site with just the basics at $400 as an addon and they grabbed it.

Why did we talk about the website - purely because of the latest changes and that we actually agree that a website is going to become more critical.

So if we are adding websites to our portfolio of services even at only $400 a pop we will pull an extra $30K to $40K a year in cash flow - thanks Google.

        Regards

Sorry to be dense, but how much of a problem is this? It seems that you can switch from this type of search to a standard search anyway, plus it could be good for local businesses no? Or maybe I just don't get this article at all....

  • wow! That's very different.

As the linked article says it really snuffs out the small guy, and increases the importance of location based SEO.

Thanks for this - scrambling now to compensate.
