Pest Control Website For Rent

I've built a website and got it to the top of Google for a pest control keyword at a particular geographical area. The aim is to rent this website out to pest control business owners. I am currently getting 1-2 calls every day about pest control and need to rent it out ASAP.

How would you go about approaching pest control business owners to rent this website out?

Go to the offline forum and check around as there are a lot of discussions of this same type of thing. You also have the option of just straight up selling the leads to a company or forwarding the calls and invoicing them for the calls they get.

You can always just go through your local yellowpages and look for pest control companies that don't have websites and just call them up and tell them what you've got.

I'm not the greatest with cold calls but I look at directories online for companies. Then I do a company name search in google. If I find they own a website, I find an email and a contact form and send a very "short" note.

      Short really is the key.

I have had 0% success selling to any company that has no website and only had success selling to companies who already have sites.

Most complain their sites don't work, so they are interested in something that does.

You can flip the domains on namepros or dnforum for maybe a 10-100% profit. You can usually go direct to an offline client and get 1000%

As a side note, I have got responses from email, and closed the sales on phone call.

      Hope it helps.

Simplicity and 'straight-shooting' is always a good way to go.

I'd compile a list of local pest control companies and I'd call them up one by one and tell them exactly what I've got.

    Give them a few options...

    ...for rental

    ...for leads

    ...for buyout

    Good luck

Pick up a yellow pages for the area that you are targeting and you should find almost every pest control company there.

Then you could either give them a call or sent them a flyer directing them to your site.

If they are in the YP you know that they already pay to advertise.

Type your main keyword+location into Google Australia (assuming that's where your target geographic is). Offer the site to someone ranking on, say, page 5 for the same keyword combo as yours.

If they're not interested, try someone else.

You've achieved what they're also trying to do, right? This way, you're offering them a shortcut which is already working.

Go to Google, look at who is doing PPC and is on the 2nd thru 9th pages. Get emails from the websites. Put together a video showing people what you have done. Send emails to those people who are doing PPC and not on the first page.

    Your phone will ring

You can send them postcards with a pic of your listing or site or email them using THEIR contact form on THEIR website (if they have a form).

I made a roofing website w/leads and get paid $197/month -- but you should be able to get more.
