Hi guys,

I'm currently creating some lead capture pages for local niches like chiropractors and roofers and trying to get them to the first page, offer that as proof, as well as collect and sell those leads to the client who decides to work with me.

How do users normally search when using localized words like their city name?

Is it usually "city profession" like "New York Doctors" or "Doctor NYC"?

Have any of you used this method before to get new clients or sell leads?

Thanks,

Jordan

When I search, I just type in Roof repair.
Then I scroll down Google and it gives me the local results relative to my ISP

In my experience most people just type in what they are looking for and Google automatically finds the nearest location. So if you are looking for keyword triggers I would go with "DoctorCity".

i would go to the adwords key word tool and use that to learn what people are looking for / or use market samurai

many people use the word "local" but check all options

      Hi

They tend to just type in the industry (i.e. plumbers). If they don't find what they want they then add a city or suburb to hone it down.

      Hope that helps

I tend to optimize for [City]+[Specific Niche]

My actual traffic is considerably more random though...

It is more applicable if you running a local business. Localized SEO is now becoming popular.
