I saw a story once where someone started with a piece of junk furniture they found on the side of the road and started trading on craigslist and ended with a car worth about $5k . You could do the same thing and then sell the car.

$600 in the next two months could be done in a lot of ways.

Since you posted in the OFFLINE forum, I'm assuming you want to work with local business owners... which means you're going to either have to sell a service, or sell a class/seminar/product.

The easiest way, with no capital, is to sell a service. Sorry, but it just is.

If you had a product to offer, or a seminar or something like that, you could probably hit the pavement and get some people in the door at $50 a pop or something... but you have to have the knowledge to do the seminar (or hire a speaker).

If you want cheap, you're going to have to pay with time and work. That means you're going to have to do things like pick up the phone and hit the streets. Unless you really like sitting there spamming the hell out of CL.

maybe you could let us know some of your online experience or skills.

$600 in 2 months would be really easy flipping a couple of sites on flippa.com.
if you can set up a wordpress blog and add some content/offers in niches that are selling on flippa, then you should be able to sell 2 or 3 sites a month super part time.

I have to agree with Morgan. if you have the basic skills for developing or just customizing a wordpress blog and some internet marketing understanding, you can definitely make some money on flippa.com by selling affiliate sites:

-don't forget to do the basic stuff like adding content or reviews for products if any

-maybe add some datafeeds from somewhere- depend on the niche

-or even ecommere sites (research a niche, add some basic product line, contact dropshipper, start selling, make profits, and then show some earning proofs on flippa.com, it will raise the website price dramaticly)

    Chris,

Can you tell us a bit more about your skills? There are many things you can offer local business owners, and most of it can be outsourced. The most important skill to have is the ability to take action and be comfortable selling a service.

Before you all start shooting any more ideas out there, it would help you a lot if you kept the OP's last post in mine. "Yea I posted in Offline by accident, I actually wanted to raise this online, and needed online ideas."

    Just sayin'.

Might want to spend some time looking at all of the posts in WF. There are hundreds of ideas. Once you find one you can get some great insight on how people have been successful with it.

You can try selling stuff on eBay, you might be able to kill two birds with one stone, cleaning out unwanted items and making money ;-)
