Search Volume vs Qualified Leads

Is there any research available that shows the percentage of searches for goods or services that are actually qualified leads? Thanks.

I am not aware of any tool that does that. If there is - would sure love to be enlightened.

PPC is only way I know to get PROVEN hard data like that. Or if you can rank quickly for subset of the search volume (takes little longer).

There are tools that give you an INDICATION and probability of getting quality leads. One quick way to see what advertisers are willing to pay for it.
However I have seen leads from the most unsuspecting terms searches - everthing has to be tested.

    Hope this answers your question.

Thanks Anand. The reason I want this info is mainly as a sales tool for prospective clients.

Way to many variables. I wish this could be predicted as it would make my life a whole lot easier when selling services to clients.
