You're right. I don't, however, there are a few things that I know people struggle with.

Success in Offline Marketing consulting isn't something you can simply accept intellectually. That was part of my problem when I started back in January of 2008. Sure I'd been working successfully in service consulting since 1995 and intellectually I 'got it' when it came to offering services, however, I didn't ACT on my beliefs because I was 'busy being busy' and being the wrong kind of person...

Two Kinds Of People Involved In
Offline Marketing Consulting


From training and coaching Offline Marketers and also business owners -- and from my own experience (failures and successes), I've discovered that there are essentially two kinds of people:

  1. Those who are in business TO WIN. These are people that TAKE ACTION on what they KNOW
    .
    and ...
    .
  2. Those who are in business NOT TO LOSE. These people keep collecting more information and AVOID taking action
.
For about 6 months after I initially 'discovered' what we refer to as Offline Marketing, I sat comfortably in the second group. I had all the information I needed, however, I didn't take action.

Which group do you fit into right now?

Sitting comfortably in the second group is the main reason why most people who would otherwise be successful in Offline Marketing consulting (and in other areas of life) don't have what they want from Offline Marketing.

Your True Hidden Goal?

I know this may be hard to accept however, just imagine for a moment that like many people I've worked with and helped get 'unstuck', your true or hidden goal may not be to get what you think you want from Offline Marketing consulting, but to avoid failure and disappointment.

1st result? Doing nothing.

2nd result? Reading and studying and accumulating more information about Offline Marketing.

You ALWAYS Have A Choice

Yes you do.

You can choose to be in this lucrative business to AVOID LOSING and as a result, live an unstable, stressful life of lack and limitation. This is where, no matter how much you READ and STUDY Offline Marketing, you'll never CONSISTENTLY get the clients, fees or any other result you want

Alternatively, why not be in this business to WIN and DO WHAT YOU KNOW.

I guarantee that when you do (not IF...), things will no longer be about mere 'survival.' It's going to be about getting clients that will inspire and motivate you. It'll be about asking for the fees you want, irrespective of your level of experience, and getting them (there's that thing called 'outsourcing' remember!)

You can do this, regardless of your current circumstances, the economy where you live or any other obstacle you perceived to be in your way right now.

This is why I always state that Offline Marketing is not like "shooting fish in a barrel" as you may have been led to believe, but it's about making that simple but not easy choice
