Free software to collect client email and name

I tried to find on the web a free simple software that can be used on POS and will be able to collect email and name of clients and maybe export so I can use with Aweber or other online autoresponders, but couldn't find one.

Any idea? how do local business collect emails for emailing (newsletter....), what software they use?

    There are some Free Alternatives out there:

    Mailchimp - Free up to 500 subscribers.
    Ezine Director - Free up to 249 subscribers

    If I could not afford Aweber, I would definitely start with something like Mailchimp.

    You can always export your list and import it into another service.

    I'm talking about a software for offline like on a Point of Sale. You collect email and names of customers by a software then export /import to Aweber using .csv for example.

      Oh, I'm sorry. For some reason I missed the POS part. Actually, you can easily do that just using a simple excel spreadsheet. Here are the instructions:
