Selling to scrap yards recykling plants etc.
I'm looking for a bit of advice from the salesmen among you in here.
Currently I'm in the process of creating a product that will help businesses here in Denmark handle the logging of various information on government systems a lot more easily than their current options allows.
In a nutshell it is scrapyards, transporters, recykling plants etc. who has to log the movement of the various materials and trash they handle on a daily basis.
Currently the system they use allows for a manual entering of all data one by one. for a comany that deals with hundreds of customers and logs every day this is quite a chore to do manually.
We plan on integrating an automatic solution into our existing software for these customers enabling them to log all data without any labor intensive data entry etc.
Now for my question.
how should I approach my potential customers? Me going in there with a fancy suit and a lot of IM speak somehow doesn't seem to be the best idea when I go in to deal with customers who are used to attacking computer problems with a hammer.
Any good advice?
Just here to see the shenanigans.
