Good (and simple...) Directory Template?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good and very simple template that I can use to build a regional business directory?

I have looked at a couple but wondered what others use.

I can build a simple html site and am reasonably familiar with the workings of WP, so either option would be good.

    Yep - DirectoryPress is AWESOME. Their website is down right now for design updates though, which has never happened to me. Forgot how much I paid, but it's killer.

      That's one that I have been trying to look at.

      I'll keep checking back for a day or two to see if it is back online.

      But I want to start NOW!!!

      Lots of snow and ice outside means I have time on my hands.

        The weather sucks where you are at too? We had snow for awhile, i got a LOT of work done being stuck at home

        Yeah it's awesome. They have all kinds of wordpress scripts, their support isn't the BEST but if you have issues you can PM me and I can help you out.

          I learn everything by trial and error (lots of error...) so having someone to ask would be fantastic.

          I live in the wilds of Ireland and there is no-one I can even chat to about what I do without their eyes glazing over!

      Take a look at this...

      One of the owners used to hang out here.
      I've used it, good support at the time.
      They have added a lot of features to it
      since I first bought it.

    Hi Karen,

    I've started to use Advanced Newspaper Theme from Gabfire - The second site in my sig runs on it. Not perfect, but fairly intuitive to work with.
