Ok Warriors I have a question.

Now everyone reading this thread is probably in someway involved in Offline Consulting or likewise.

So, are you doing it partime or fulltime?

Are you still working your main job and doing this at night?

Here is my story:

I currently still run and operate my 2 retail stores. I have been doing this on the side for about 3 months already. It is hard for me to drop the responsibility of what I have built for the last 10 years with my local businesses. I am able to put in about 3.5 hours a day right now with this consulting business and then on the weekends I am able to put about 5 hours in.

I still have to balance life with this partime business. As this business grows I will be able to feel confident to step back a bit from my local businesses.

For some of you guys that have been doing this for a while, what kind of hours do you work?

I do outsource most of all my activities, but I still read atleast an hour or two a day for just learning.

I do this full time, and help out my brother with his business part time.
I would say I put in 10-12 hours a day, 7 days a week. I know this might seem like a lot to some people, however I do it because I love it.
My dad has always had a good work ethic, working 60-80 hours a week.
He instilled the same thing in me, working for as long as I can remember.
Eventually, I will work 5 hours a week but not anytime soon.

    • Yes I have the same type of work ethic. I grew up working my ass off because of my father. I put in about 14 hours a day for sure.

    Same here...

I left my corporate job a few months ago to do this full-time.

I was really tired of working for someone else and it seemed that I didn't have any time to work on my business.

When I resigned, I thought I would have all the time in the world to dedicate to my buisness. WRONG!

Seems like my business workload quadrupled. LOL
I'm sure that's normal for any business owner.

I put in probably about 12 hours per day and sometimes a lot more, but it's OK because I'm passionate about it.

But it's worth it... definitely beats working for someone else.

    • Are saying that your offline business is making your work 12 hours a day? That is good then, means you are busy.

That is good, you will soon be able to sit back and enjoy all the benefits of hard work that you are doing now.

I cant imagine what I would all get done with that much time.
