Pre-qualifiying prospects

How do you go about looking for prospects and what qualifies as a good prospect, and what sort of questions do you ask to qualifiy them? I would like to find a way of knowing if a prospect is serious about changing their online marketing or are just interested in hearing about it. I kind of want to change up how I am going about looking for leads for next week and talking to them.

You just have to feel it. Honeslty if a person invites you out to their business, there is a good chance they are interested enough to talk to in most cases. If they schedule you waaay out and there isnt a really good reason... they arent that hot yet. They are just trying to put it off.

If they are anxious to meet you as soon as possible, they are hot.

Agreed. If you're at a networking event and they swarm you as soon as you announce that you're an Internet marketer, they're pretty good prospects. They might not have cash right now, but they do know that the future of their business is online.
