Need Help With this Crazy New Idea

Hi All,

I've got an idea I came up with and I just wanted to bounce it around and see if you guys may be able to help me determine if this is even feasible.

Here's the scenario:
What if we created a website for a local keyword like "Miami Lawyers" and then worked on the SEO so the site showed up in the top 5 on Google. Well I'm thinking we could add a script to that page that automatically redirects to one of 5 different URL's and then we could sell advertising space to 5 different Law companies.
That's it in a nutshell. My only concern is how google would view this? Would they penalize you for the redirects? If so, would it make a difference if we used an iframe instead?

I'd love to hear any thoughts about this?

Thanks in advance for any help!

-=Chris

Use an iframe once the site ranks and then just lease the site to the highest bidding law firm. no?

The only thing is that I think it'd be easier to sell for $500 a month to 5 different people than $2500 a month to just one. That way, all of your eggs aren't in one basket and you aren't left without an income if one person drops out!

      Yes!

Rus is correct - lease the page to the highest bidder.

Personally, I tell them what the price is and use a feeding frenzy method to get it leased quickly.

I am not 100% sure on this, but I have read somewhere that you can send the robots to a certain place and then send actual visitors somewhere else. If you can make it to where the bots seen the actual seo optimized site and the visitors were redirected to one of your five clients, I think this is a great idea. With a little Google searching I am sure that you could find your answer to this.

If this is possible, wouldn't this be seen as a gateway page by google and be against their "rules"?

The whole Idea doesnt seem so straight. My thinking is that Google Bots will eventually see this and delist your site.
